The 100 Days Project v2016

Hello, everyone! I just wanted to drop by and say hello ("Hello!"), and let you know about another daily Instagram project I've started.

Because I'm a glutton for punishment, probably.

As you maybe remember, I published a book last month and I wrote about WHY here.

For the next 100 days, I'll be posting daily scribbles and comics, ultimately working my way toward a multi-panel/multi-page comic (the book I'm following is structured like lessons/classes and is building up to 10-12 pages, which I can't wrap my head around yet!).

I'll be posting on Instagram (@classymcg). The general tag for all participants is #the100dayproject, and my specific tag is #100daysofcomicstudy. You can join me, too! Jump in anytime! If you can stick with it, 100 days is 100 days no matter when you show up.

I just have to remember that it's OK to suck the very first time I try something.

So if you can have patience with me,

I can have patience with me, too!

Yesterday was Day 1. It was timed doodling.

Today is Day 2, Sketchbook Comic. This is an exercise in creating a 6- to 9-panel cartoon where the first panel was based on something you saw in the room. I was at the coffee shop.

Happy Shenanigans!
