Team Classy McGraceful -- AIDSWalk Kansas City

Hey, team! It's that time of year again! I've begun my fundraising efforts for AIDSWalk Kansas City.

AIDSWalk is the largest event by the AIDS Service Foundation of Kansas City that raises funds to help the agencies providing assistance to those with or at risk of HIV/AIDS.

It's also my FAVORITE event because almost every organization I support in KC is represented, which means I get to see lots of friends. It's like a giant love-fueled reunion.

This year, I've created Team Classy McGraceful, and I hope you'll join me! I have to make a minimum of $500, which should be easy with the wonderful team I have! I understand there are 1000s of people who do fundraising for this event in KC, so if you've already committed to another team, I understand.

There are a few ways you can help:

1) Make a one-time donation to my Team Page! These funds go directly to AIDSWalk, and we don't have to worry about it! You may also donate to me off-line and I will make sure the funds get credited to my team (if you write me a check, I won't submit it until the event, so it may take awhile to hit your account).

2) Join my team as a walker (virtual or in-person)! You can formally do this through the website by Registering and making sure you join Team Classy McGraceful. The walk on event day is about 3 miles, and it's truly just walking/strolling.

3) Show up on event day and walk with us and/or help me promote at my booth.

4) If you can't do any of those things, but still want to help, you may share this post or my team page with others!

2016 PERK! If you donate at least $30 to my page, I'll give you a free Classy hat, either rainbow colors or red/black to fit the AIDSWalk theme. You can pick! I'll bring hat bag to the event, or we can arrange for other delivery before the event.

OK, that's all for now!
