Hat Wagon and Art Every Day Project

Happy Friday, all! I figured since I have a day off work, I should stop by and say hello!

Thanksgiving weekend kicks of my winter season of constant hat-making and another trip through Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I've also been spending November creating daily Instagram posts for Art Every Day Month (the photo above is my Day 27 contribution). It was the answer to NaNoWriMo that happens every November as well. We work on creating every day, but it doesn't have to be anything specific or profound. Just...create. For those updates, visit my Instagram (@classymcg). Those posts cross-post to Tumblr and Twitter (@classymcg) if that's more your speed.

Upcoming!

On December 1st, I'll kick off #doyogawithmeDecember as my December everyday project for Instagram. It's good to keep having excuses to 1) do yoga, and 2) post for accountability. I'll have another full blog post for that. I hope you'll consider joining me!

On Saturday, December 5, we'll be celebrating and fundraising for The Arts Asylum at the 3rd Annual Bell Tower Bash. From 4-6:00 there will be a free holiday market with live music, and then the ticketed fundraiser with MORE live music begins at 6:30. Here is the Facebook event.

My "Love is ALWAYS in Fashion" hat installation will be Saturday, December 12 (7:30P), and Sunday, December 13 (2:00P) at the World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial in Kansas City. This coincides with the holiday concerts for Mid America Freedom Band, the beneficiary of my hat donations this year. If you attend the concerts either day, you can donate an additional $5 to MAFB in exchange for a hat! Hence the Buffy Hat Season. So far I've raised $210 for the band selling at other markets this season. Any time you buy a hat from me through the rest of 2015, $5 will go to MAFB.

The most up-to-date information on where I'll be is through my Facebook page.

Enjoy your weekend, everyone! I hope to see you sometime this year!

Love,
Classy
