Do Yoga With Me December

Hello, all!

You might remember a few months back, I was seeking a good Instagram hashtag project to do.

I keep coming back to yoga accountability.


There's a lot of love to be found in the ideas that keep visiting you over and over again.

So I'm finally going with it.

Beginning December 1st, I'm kicking off "Do Yoga With Me December," a 31-day effort to just hit the mat. Whether I have 5 minutes or 2 hours to spare, I will set aside time each day to work on my yoga practice.

I've also rounded up my friend Amanda from Your Body Best to help me with my efforts. She also hosts a Yoga for Runners Facebook group that we can use for our accountability efforts.

For this project, we're using the hashtag #DoYogaWithMeDecember. Each day, you can post your reflections from your practice that day -- take a photo, draw a picture, make a video, just post a message on the Facebook group, and we'll know you participated! Below is also an image you can download to post on your Instagram account to let people know you are participating. Just make sure to tag Amanda (@yourbodybest) and Classy (@classymcg) so we can see you!



I'm also pledging to use variety in my yoga practice -- I'll refer to my books, I'll go to a studio, but mostly, I know I'll try a variety of videos on the Do Yoga with Me website. It's been supplementing my practice for a couple years now, and I want to share it with the world!

Your practice may look way different and that's great! The point is to just show up.
