Fundraising for AIDSWalk Kansas City

You probably don't know this about me yet, but AIDSWalk is my favorite day of the year.

There is nothing but joy in the midst of businesses, non-profits, churches, theaters, individuals, and tiny dogs in sweaters who have come together to help raise awareness of and help de-stigmatize populations who have (or are at high risk of having) HIV/AIDS.

AIDSWalk Kansas City is an event for AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City. Funds raised from the walk go toward programming that helps educate, medicate, house, and generally support these at-risk individuals. This year, the event is on Saturday, April 27th.

The bummer?

I can't go because I'll be out of town. So, I need your help.

Like usual, I've set up a fundraising page, but this time I've set a pretty lofty goal for myself ($400) (but that's still much less than most Kickstarter campaigns!) (We can do this!):

Things of note:

I really want to reach this goal as soon as possible.

I will give you a Classy-style thank-you card for ANY donation between now and April 7th. So, $5 or $50, you deserve a round of thanks.

Please share the donation page far and wide! The sooner I reach my goal, the sooner I can stop bugging you about it.
